China's Fujian earthen building was formally listed in the World Heritage List on the 32nd session of the World Heritage Conference held in Quebec City of Canada on July 6,2008.Since then,the reputation and popularity of Fujian's earthen building has been significantly enhanced,thousands of visitors come in great numbers,making the protection of Fujian' s earthen building become a key project.This paper analyzes some problems faced by the protection of Fujian's earthen building and some factors influencing the safety of Fujian's earthen building,and puts forward some protection countermeasures from four aspects of administrative departments,tourist enterprises,community residents and tourists.
