Abstract
Fiber Reinforced Plastic(FRP)has been used in civil engineering in U.S.,Europe,Canada and Japan.Their application in China,however,has been very limited.Their high strength to weight ratio and excellent resistance to electro chemical corrosion make them attractive materials for structural application.This paper presents an overview of the studies and applications of nonmetallic and gives some advices.
