Abstract
Novel self-healing microcapsules of reactive ethylene silicone oil/poly(urea-formaldehyde)are prepared by in-situ polymerization,with poly(urea-formaldehyde)(PUF)as the shell material and ethylene silicone oil(DY-V401-310 silicone oil)as the core material.The effects of agitation rates and surfactants on the physical properties of poly(urea-formaldehyde)(PUF)encapsulated ethylene silicone oil microcapsules are investigated.And the surface morphology,the particle size and distribution,and the chemical structure and properties of microcapsules are characterized by SEM,FTIR,metalloscope(MS)and laser partical size analyzer.Results indicate that SDBS and glutin play a positive role in the forming of microcapsules.The relatively ideal microcapsules can be prepared,when the mass fraction of SDBS is 1% and the agitation rate is 600r/min.
