Effect of TCM Comprehensive Intervention on the Mild Cognitive Impairment Caused by Leukoaraiosis
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of TCM comprehensive intervention on the mild cognitive impairment caused by leukoaraiosis. Methods Totally 78 patients with mild cognitive impairment due to leukoaraiosis were randomized into the TCM comprehensive intervention group and control group with 39 in each. The control group was treated with the regulation of life style and treatment of basic diseases, based on which, the intervention group was treated with Compound Congrong Yizhi Capsule (Herbal capsule mainly containing cistanche for cognitive impairment),4 capsules each time,3 times a day,and acupoint massage before sleep in the evening everyday. The treatment lasted for 90 days. The scores of 68 clinical symptoms,Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA),and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) were used to evaluate the effect. Results After treatment, the patients in the TCM comprehensive intervention group were greatly improved in the symptoms including headache, heaviness in the head, dizziness, insomnia, restlessness, hot temper, listlessness, fatigue, palpitation, soreness and weakness in the lumbus and legs, heaviness of the body, cold extremities, thirst with desire to drink, tastelessness, cough with phlegm, shortness of breath, fullness in the chest, sighs, and hot sensation in palms and soles, with significant difference (P0.05 or P0.01).The MoCA score was increased,ADL score decreased (P0.05 or P0.01),and the score of MoCA visual space, executive function, nominating, abstract thinking, and the sub-items of delaying memory was significantly increased, with significant difference as compared with those before treatment (P0.05 or P0.01).The improvement of MoCA and ADL scores in the intervention group was more significant than that in the control group. Conclusion The TCM comprehensive intervention can improve the cognitive functions of those patients who are with cognitive impairment caused by leukoaraiosis and its induced symptoms to improve the daily living activities.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
