Abstract
Effects of seed water absorption,temperature,light,darkness and GA3 on seed germination of Solanum torvum Sw.were investigated.The results showed that Solanum torvum Sw.seeds water absorption reached saturation after being soaked for 12 h at 25 ℃.The optimal germination temperature was 30 ℃.Light or darkness had no effect on seeds germination of Solanum torvum Sw.Germination rate of Solanum torvum Sw.seeds was 70.0% in poikilothermal seed soaking.And the germination rates were 31.7%,32.0%,41.4%,41.9% and 70.0%,respectively,with 100,200,500,600,1 000 mg/L GA3 treatments.
