Abstract
Canada borders on America and is closely connected with the latter in every aspect, with no exception culturally. The issue of Americanization is protruded more than other countries. In fact, the dissemination of American mass culture in Canada puts a serious challenge for Canada, but it does not change the basic differentiating features between the two and even makes Canadian culture suit more to the development of modern society objectively. Canada remains itself, not losing its original cultural features, nor melting into the powerful American culture gradually and passively.
