To research the characteristics of physics knowledge network which is composed of physics terms,a binary network of physics knowledge was constructed based on complex network theory.Furthermore,by analyzing the binary network of physics knowledge,it was discovered that the binary network of physics knowledge possesses the characteristics of complex network: The mean distance between any two nodes is very small,Degree distribution of physics knowledge network follows the power-law distribution,Physics knowledge network has hierarchical modular structure.Therefore,based on analysis of the binary network of physics knowledge,the structure characteristics of abstract physics knowledge implied in the textbook would be understood.
