Abstract
The security framework design of community network and the theories are expatiated in this paper. In the design of security framework for community network, a general firewall method and two novel technologies, VPN and IDS, are combined to realize Network security. An example is given to illuminate the realization of VPN on WIN2000 and IDS based on the technology of data mining is discussed.
