Abstract
The effects of simulated acid rain on the seed germination of Radix Isatidis were studied.The results showed : The lower pH values of the simulated acid rains,the stronger seed germination and radical growth of Radix Isatidis were inhibited.The fresh weight of radical、hypocotyl and cotyledon were decreased,the percentage of abnormal germination were increased as the decrease of the pH values.when pH values at 5.0,the germination percentage,germination energy,germination index,vigor index were highest.The acid rain cause the cytoplasm,MDA content and praline content increase.the lower the pH values of simulated acid.
