Abstract
The distribution of groundwater level in an uninterrupted space was studied under the support of GIS in the lower reaches of Heihe River.And the change of groundwater level was analyzed from the very beginning of ecological water delivery to its very end in 2005.Results showed that the range of groundwater fluctuation lies around the 20 km buffer zone of the river.This study is of help for the analysis of environmental effect from an ecological water delivery perspective.It can also provide reference for ecosystem restoration in the river's lower reaches.
