Abstract
Northrop Frye is a distinguished literary theorist and culture critic both in Canada and in the West in the 20th century.Being a productive theorist and critic,he is well-known for his work titled Anatomy of Criticism(1957) throughout Europe and America.In overseas,people have studied Northrop Frye in great details even before his death.In China,people began to study him in the 1980s.This paper aims to make a summary of the current researches about him both at home and abroad.
