Abstract
This paper provides a new high-speed weigh-in-motion method. The deck was modeled as a simply supported beam and the vehicle/bridge interaction force was modeled as two-point loads with fixed axle spacing, moving at constant speed. The strain sensors under the bridge were used to measure the bridge strain when the vehicle moved across the bridge, the integral operation was used to eliminate the effect of the vehicle vibration to get the moving vehicle load. Results of experiments showed that the identification method is effective.
