Abstract
The de Casteljau evaluation algorithm applied to a finite sequence of control points defines a Bezier curve. The evaluation algorithm also generates a subdivision scheme. An approximating subdivision scheme is presented for Poisson based on de Casteljau algorithm. The properties of Poisson curves are the same as which of the Bezier curves. In addition, in contrast with Bezier curves, Poisson curves have a broad applied range. Subdivision scheme is presened for Poisson degree n in the last.
