Abstract
Le territoire du Centre local d’emploi (CLE) du Plateau- \nMont-Royal comprend le territoire des arrondissements Le \nPlateau-Mont-Royal et Ville-Marie de la ville de Montréal, \nauquel s’ajoute une portion du Nord-Est de l’arrondissement \nLe Sud-Ouest de la ville de Montréal. Avec 179 005 personnes \n(données intégrales, voir la note ci-dessus) en 2006, soit 9,7% de la population de l’île de Montréal, le territoire du CLE du Plateau-Mont-Royal est le 2e plus populeux des 14 territoires de CLE de l’île. Sa population était de 176 201 en 2001; elle s’est donc accrue de 1,6% entre 2001 et 2006, moins que dans l’ensemble de l’île (2,2%).
