Abstract
This article proposes a new NAT and firewall traversal protocol called Session Layer Protocol for P2P-SIP system.This protocol uses the super nodes which are on the public internet to provide distribute traversal service for the ordinary nodes which are behind NAT and Firewall.Session Layer Protocol can not only traverse symmetric NAT,but can also traverse TCP and prevent Firewall's force-out.Actual testing results testify its availability and validity.
