Judged by either the quality or the quantity of her works, L.M.Montgomery is certainly the most remarkable Canadian novelist for childern. Emily of New Moon is one of her representative novels, which concentrates on the growth of a little girl named Emily. With her mature writing skills, Montgomery portrays the beauty and anguish of growing up in an easy and relaxed Way. This article analyses the novel's artistic features from three perspectives: structure, narration and images.
