Problems caused by shortage of resources and pollution of environment are increasingly doing great harm to the exist of human being and sustainable development.At present,China's economy develops very fast and the population is also getting larger than ever before,which gives rise to more stress of resources and environment than any other countries.In this case,the central government of China puts forward that it is the major task to construct new socialist countryside The preliminary problems emerging from the shortages of resources and the pollution of environment in the construction of socialist new countryside are discussed in this paper.Accordingly,the measures to harmonize relations between the construction of new socialist countryside and resources and environment are put forward.
