Abstract
According to the climate and ecology characteristics in the hilly district of Northern Jiangsu Province,the varietal adaptability of alfalfa and related cultivation techniques were studied.The varieties Derungo from Canada,WL320,WL323,and Golden Queen from USA showed higher yield and better adaptabilities than others.When applied with 60.0 kg/hm2 nitrogen,7.5 kg/hm2 borax,300.0 g/hm2 of ammonium molybdate,4 500.0-6 000.0 kg/hm2 of lime,and 5% quizalofop-p-ethyl 900 ml/hm2 at seedling stage,the above alfalfa varieties exhibited high yield.
