Abstract
The principle and algorithm of variorum and the geological setting of DS uranium metallogenic area are introduced at the beginning.Spherical model and 1:50000 DEM are used to calculate the elevation variogram parameters of the interesting district.The directions of major variogram range are found near to the flowing direction of groundwater in the ore hosting layer,while the anistropy,value of major variogram range and ratiao of artial still to still are found to have good relation to the uranium metalization.The geological reason of the above phenomena and their meaning to uranium exploration are also discussed elementary.
