Abstract
The carbon and energy in seed germination is gained from the conversion and utilization of seed resource is nutrients and energy during germination.The sugar metabolism of Q 267 and T 26 in sweet corn were analysed.In this study,seed resource consumption effect and seed resource utilization effect were increased,and it had certain difference in different sweet corn germplasm during seed germination;sugars(soluble sugar,fructose and sucrose) were increased firstly and then reduced,while glucose were decreased gradually and the activity of amylase and sucrose synthase were synthesized during germination.It would provide a theoretical basis for sweet corn from the point of view of biological systems.
