According to the actual steelmaking working position of No.8 EAF in XINYEGANG Co.Ltd,a model used for numerical simulation was established.The oxygen and steel's flow status in steelmaking EAF was studied by numerical simulation.The results showed some inclusions as follows.The max oxygen' s velocity is 671m/s in Laval tube' s outlet and it' s weakened in the flowing process until about 121 m/s on the molten surface.The oxygen' s power density is 6507 W/t in Laval tube' s outlet and 1799 W/t on the molten surface and the steel' s stirring power density is 50 W/t.If the oxygen' s power density in Laval tube' s inlet is assumed to be 100,the oxygen' s power density will be 71.70 at Laval tube' s outlet and 19.82 on the molten surface respectively,while the steel' s stirring power density will be 0.55.
