Spatial pattern and evolution of population education——A case of Qinghai Province

Abstract
From the point of years of education per capita,using the data of Qinghai Province's Five censuses information as well as 1% sample survey data of the population in 2005,the geographical space pattern and the evolution law of the population cultural quality in Qinghai Province were revealed.The results showed that during 1964 and 2005,the spatial structure of the population education situations of Qinghai Province was that the northern and eastern parts were high,but the of southern and western parts were low,showing the T shaped interval three-level ladder pattern,the overall spatial changes of the population education level were small,but more obvious for the internal spatial structure changes.The standard deviation and Gini coefficient of the population cultural quality for 40 counties in Qinghai province continued to rise,which indicated that the regional differences of the population education level were gradually expanding.The spatial autocorrelation of regional population and education level was significant.
