Abstract
The thickness of woven sandwich fabric is determined by pile yarn height.To find the factors that affect the pile yarn height,five structural parameters of the pile yarns are defined and the geometrical relation among them is established.Through the comparison between calculated values and measured values of pile yarn height,a good similarity is found,which proved that the geometrical relations established among structural parameters of the pile yarns is corresponded to the practical situation.
