Abstract
The technique reformation introduced into continuous rolling of the second-hand bar half-continuous rolling line in Chengde Iron and Steel Co. was introduced. The equipment condition and technique characteristics were analyzed in reformation before and after. After reformation of reheating-furnace, main line, cooling bed and electrical system the through put is increased form 300 000 to 600 000 tons every year,the economic and technical indexes were remarkably increased and the better economical benefits were obtained.
