The investment department of Canada Pension Plan which adopts index investment model is independent and avoids polity intervention damage.According to the analyzing,the paper considers that we should choose the index fund as the social security fund model of china.The major reason for selection the index fund is that it not only can decrease operation cost but also benefits supervision by administrator in order to meet the double demand for the security and profit.And so development the index fund is an important task in the future development in the capital market in China.
