Effect of BO's Abdominal Acupuncture for Chronic Sports Injury

Abstract
Objective To observe the curative and preventive effect of BO's abdominal acupuncture for treating chronic sports injury.Methods BO's abdominal acupuncture was used to treat 60 patients with various kinds of sports injuries.McGill scale was adopted to evaluate pain level before and after treatment.Results The McGill scores of post-treatment and after 2-month follow-up study were both significantly different from that of the pre-treatment(P0.05).Compared with the pre-treatment,the patients had marked differences in the total onset times of acute injuries induced by daily exercises and races(intensive sports activities),the general cases of going to hospital for acute sports injury,and time required for relieving(P0.05).Conclusion BO's abdominal acupuncture can effectively release chronic sports injury,and plays a positive role in preventing acute onset.
