Effects of Short Cold-storage Time on Seed Germination Capacity of Rosa Seeds

Abstract
The seeds of Rosa omeiensis,Rosa derongensis,Rosa soulieana var.yunnanensis,Rosa soulieana,Rosa sikangensis and Rosa longicuspis were used in this study.During the cold-storage,perlite was used as substrate.The cold-storage time was one or two months.The seeds without any substrate were check.After sowing the seeds,the germination capacity was calculated one time a week.Comparing the mean value of germination capacity of these four Rosa seeds,the highest one was Rosa soulieana var.yunnanensis.The germination capacity of one month cold-storage of these four rosa seeds was higher than two months.
