Empirical Analysis on the Standard for Economic Compensation of Cultivated Land Protection in Jilin Province Based on External Benefit

Abstract
Farmland in China has been decreasing; and one of the main reasons is the spillover of the cultivated land protection multifunctional effect. Based on external theory, the ecological value, social security value and national food safety value of cultivated land in Jilin province in 2011 was estimated by using income reversion method. Furthermore the externality value and compensation limits of cultivated land protection in Jilin province were caculated. Comparative analysis with other provinces was conducted on this basis. According to the situation of Jilin province. Related suggestions were put forward; and related conclusions were summarized.
