Abstract
By using of market share,price index,trade competitive index and revealed comparative advantage index,this paper tries to explore the competitiveness of China's seamless steel pipe in American market during 2000-2008.The empirical results show that though China's seamless steel pipe occupied a greater market share and price advantage in American market,the other two indices indicate that the competitiveness of China's seamless steel pipe is inferior to Austia and Spain.This study finally provides some advices on how to improve the competitiveness of China's seamless steel pipe in American market.
