According to monitored data of SO_2 and NO_x in Xi'an City during 1991-2002,the space-time variation was analyzed.The results were follow: ① Within a year the curve of concentration change of SO_2and NO_x form a U figure.In winter from January to February and from November to December the concentration were higher,while in the summery from April to May the concentration were relatively lower,and it had higher relativity with change of average air temperature;② The quarter concentration of so_2and NO_X declined obviously in recent 12 years,it contribute to project of coal being changed into gas from 1999.And the trend answered for environment Kuznets curve;③ There was a obvious rule about district change of SO_2and NO_x in recent 6 years.That was concentration of SO_2and NO_x declined gradually in industrial estate,while in shopping center and habitation area it was higher than in industrial estate.it showed that there were differences in regulating domain configuration,changing energy sources configuration,tempo of areas.
