Abstract
The solvent extraction experiments is used to process Canda Athabasca oil sands.The effects of various solvents including cyclohexane,paraffinic naphtha,naphtha and reformed naphtha on the extraction result are investigated.The reformed naphtha is selected as the optimal solvent.The effect of extraction temperature,the extraction time,solvent to oil sands volume ratio and the stirring speed is investigated.The result shows that under the conditions of extraction temperature of 50℃,solvent to oil sands volume ratio of 1∶1,extraction time of 60 min and the stirring speed of 80 r/min,the extraction rate of bitumen can reach 92.57%.
