The Responses and Adaptive Strategies on Seeds Germination of Three Ulmaceae Tree Species to Water Stress
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The seed germination and seedling establishment characters of Pteroceltis tatarinowii,Celtis sinensis and Ulmus parvifolia were studied by germination test under water stress condition(simulated by polyethylene glycol(PEG)).The results indicated that the germination rate, seedling establishment rate, germination speed, length of embryonal root and embryonal axis as well as seedling water content of three tree species were decreased with decreasing environment potential. It was most sensitive period from seed germination to seedling establishment to water stress. The lowest environment potential for seed germination of Pteroceltis tatarinowii,Celtis sinensis and Ulmus parvifolia was -0.49 MPa,-0.32 MPa and -0.15 MPa respectively, and the lowest environment potential of seedling establishment was -0.32 MPa,-0.32 MPa and -0.15 MPa respectively. The vigor seeds could germinate again after derogating water stress, but the effects of water stress to seed germination existed hysterotely. The adaptive strategies for seed germination of three tree species to water stress mainly displayed drought tolerance germination and drought avoidance germination.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
