Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship of emotional expression and personal evaluation with social anxiety in undergraduates,and to provide evidence basis for health education and psychological counseling.Methods 170 undergraduates in Jiangsu Province were recruited and investigated with TAS-20(Toronto Alexithymia Scale),PEI(Personal Evaluation Inventory)and SAS(Social Anxiety Scale).Results Personal evaluation had direct negative effects on social anxiety,and emotion expression had indirect positive effects on social anxiety through personal evaluation.Conclusion To enhance emotional expression and establish correct personal evaluation may change status of social anxiety and promote the psychosomatic health in undergraduates.
