Abstract
To observe the stability influence of temperature,illumination and concentration on povidone iodine,This study determined the content of available iodine by potentiometric titration with standard Na2S203 solution,and pH diversity by pH meter.The result was as follows.If we want to use the povidone iodine within 2 months,0.5% povidone iodine should be stored air tight under 0-4℃ under this conditions,the content of available iodine descend 27.03% at the most,and if within 5 months,1.0% povidone iodine should be stored air tight under 0-4℃ the content of available iodine descend 26.66% at the most.In addition,The higher density,the lower pH;the lower temperature,the higher pH.This conservation condition is beneficial to stability of povidone iodine solution.
