Analysis of Polarimetric Reflection Characteristic for Polluted Soil by Petroleum

Abstract
The monitoring mechanism of remote sensing for polluted soil by petroleum was analyzed.And then,three kinds of oils,including diesel oil,motorcycle oil and gasoline,were adopted as the polluted sources,and the multi-angle spectral-polarimetric instrument was used to obtain multi-angle spectral-polarimetric characteristic data of different polluted soil by petroleum.Experimental results showed that,compared to clean soil,polluted soil by petroleum had remarkable polarimetric characteristic,and its polarimetric characteristic was related to different factors,such as observation azimuth,incidence angle of the light source,observation zenith angle,detection waveband,polluted sources as well as degree of pollution by oil were discussed.All the above provided a scientific basis for the research on polarization remote sensing for polluted soil by petroleum.
