Abstract
Facing American cultural aggression,Canada proposes the concept of culture sovereignty,formulates corresponding culture protection policies,and makes special efforts to nurture and protect the development of native radio and television.Meanwhile,Canada promotes the development of the media literacy education at the world leading level,and achieves remarkable results.Both the resistance history and the experience of Canadian media literacy education's upsurge enlighten us that in the current process of strengthening Chinese culture construction,special attention must be taken to think about the relationship between culture protection and the development of science and technology,cultural undertakings and culture industry,and cultural sovereignty and cultural hegemony.
