Abstract
The single-phase compact substation in residential quarter is energy saving and environment-friendly.This paper compares the application of the single-phase pole-mounted transformer with compact substation in the residential quarters' power supply,introduces the structure and major features of the single-phase compact substation,offers three power supplying methods.The advantage of single-phase compact transformer in the residential quarters' power supply is described with real cases,and the promising future of its application is predicted.
