Since its origin,IMF conditionality has been criticized by various sectors because of the substantial problems and the procedural problems.Financial crisis in 2009 seriously endanger economic development of states.The global economic integration process faces material hindrance.Trade protectionism is gaining ground.Import and export trade are being affected.The states who meet the problem of international payment imbalance have to seek IMF loan for help.Thus,IMF conditionality as the core aspect of IMF loan are refocused.Under this new background,it is necessary to reexamine the direction and contents of IMF conditionality reform.
