Abstract
Dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride(DMDAAC) is a water-soluble cationic quaternary,its homo-and copolymer all have high positive charge density,their molecular weight can be controlled easily,and they are cheap and applied widely,such as in oilfields,papermaking,water-treament,medicine,cosmetics and etc.,so a great deal of attention from home and abroad had been focussed on them.Structure and nature of dimethyldiallyl ammonium chlorides' polymers were described,the advances in the polymerization method of dimethyldiallyl ammonium chlorides' polymers,types and current status for research and application of its polymers were summarized.Future emphases and directions of dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride's polymers were discussed.
