The burglarproof tracing function is one of the important security techniques of the intelligent cell phone not yet realized on cell-phones based on the Embedded Linux System. This article introduces a burglarproof tracing technique, that is, sending special text massages secretly at the backstage of the system from the illegal subscriber's number to the safe number which has been prepared by the legal subscriber, which is to be realized through the modification of firmware in the embedded Linux operating system. The modified system activates the burglarproof alarm function, when the cell-phone is turned on, through the running of a definite program, to test the legality of the SIM card with the shell order.
