In order to reduce the operation cost of IPTV network operation business,the set-top box of IPTV network should realize automatic configure and maintenance based on the network.This article introduced one kind of network solution to realize intellectualized configure and maintenance for IPTV set-top box.This solution make use of server to realize automatic network parameter configure of IPTV terminal device,the entire process doesn't need the user intervention;cooperated with the current set-top box design,this solution may realize automatic promotion of set-top-box's video decoding procedure;user set-top-box monitor and maintenance only need on the long-distance server to carry on.
