Abstract
In the education system of America and Canada,the main undertaker of vocational education is community college.The community college in Canada newly increased postgraduate diploma education level after junior college and undergraduate education which is not only the extension of community college education,but also a choice after graduating from academic university.Postgraduate diploma education pays more attention to employment guidance,continually adopts school-enterprise cooperation mode,provides students having social experience with the opportunity to learn systematically and establishes favorable linkage with specialties of junior colleges,which provides a reference for the construction of the modern vocational education system and the specialized courses of vocational education in China.
