Abstract
The objective of the current study is to carry out a revision about the historical importance of the mouth of Gualdafeo River. Since the Classic Age, a very important commercial activity was carried out in this area by several Mediterranean cultures from far and wide of the Mare Nostrum. Based on the information obtained from the archaeological site of La Canada de Vargas, we will try to explaine the structure and organization of this small place which belongs Granada Tropical Cost trhoughout the Roman Age.
