Cet article a pour objectif de soulever la problématique du rapport, établi par nombre d’études, entre la migration et la santé mentale. La controverse que l’on retrouve dans la littérature précise, plus particulièrement, que les recherches empiriques sur ce sujet n’ont pas encore réussi à identifier les variables prédominantes dans ce rapport, ni à prévoir la direction que ce rapport prendrait, compte tenu des diverses variables considérées. Il est donc prématuré d’essayer d’interpréter ou de généraliser à partir des résultats que nous avons présentement, mais nous sommes déjà en mesure de poser de nouvelles questions et d’explorer de nouvelles voies qui élargiront, certainement, une perspective trop unidimensionnelle.
