Abstract
Marie-Hélène/Sam Bourcier a contribué de manière significative à faire connaître les études queer en France et ailleurs dans la francophonie. Ce champ d’études y demeure néanmoins fortement associé aux traditions de recherche anglo-saxonnes, au même titre que les cultural studies et les autres approches critiques dites « minoritaires » (postcoloniales, trans, black, etc.). Dans cet entretien réalisé lors du 7e Congrès international des recherches féministes dans la francophonie, nous avons abordé le travail de chercheur et d’activiste de Marie-Hélène/Sam Bourcier ainsi que la réception, l’apport et la politique des études critiques des genres et des sexualités au sein de l’université francophone.
