Abstract
In connection with the introduction in early August 2014, Russia's retaliatory sanctions and a ban on the importation of food from countries of the European Union, USA, Canada, Australia, Norway, etc., the need for new suppliers of food products on the domestic market of the Russian Federation with the aim of maximizing the complete satisfaction of the demand. In this regard, it is important to study the opinion of Russian consumers and buyers of products. The article presents the main results of marketing research of Russian consumers and buyers in the group of criteria: a modern attitude to food producers from countries of the European Union, China and other Asian countries; a comparative assessment of the attitude of Russian consumers and buyers for the food of domestic producers compared to foreign.
