El presente trabajo es el caso clinico de un labrador de un ano y medio de edad, que mostraba la siguiente sintomatologia : vomito, diarrea, perdida de peso, pelo hirsuto y decaimiento. Previamente a la consulta ya habia sido tratado en otro centro veterinario, el cual realizo pruebas diagnosticas como: hemograma y bilirrubinas total y directa cuyo resultado arrojo que se encontraban levemente aumentadas. Ante la persistencia de los sintomas y la poca evolucion del canino se realizaron nuevamente ayudas diagnosticas como: hemograa, FA, lipasa especifica pancreatica canina, amilasa y ecografia abdominal, las cuales evidenciaron el higado y el pancreas inflamados, al igual que los valores aumentados en amilasa y lipasa. Posterior a la estabilizacion del paciente con tratamientos inyectados y orales, dieta con alimentacion en grano I/D, seguimiento con pruebas diagnosticas como: lipasa especifica pancreatica canina y amilasa durante dos meses y exclusion de otros posibles diagnosticos, se concluyo que el paciente padecia pancreatitis.
