Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Summary: This article presents a philosophical commentary on the concept of Person developed by Romano Guardini in World and Person (1939), targeting specifically the first two chapters of part II of the book’s which contain the pages with greater philosophical relevance. Special attention is given to the way in which Guardini synthesized elements drawn from anthropological currents such as existentialism, phenomenology, dialogical philosophy and personalism. The commentary seeks to highlight the structure he provides, which ensures the philosophical unity of the section examined. Guardini’s theoretical relation with some of the main thinkers of his day is also considered. The closing section of the article presents a series of comments on some of Guardini’s most valuable anthropological teachings. Key words: Guardini, person, existence, I-You, relationship, polarity. Parole chiave: Guardini, persona, esistenza, Io-Tu, relazione, polarita.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
