Abstract
La question de la flexibilisation du travail interroge les chercheurs à la fois sur les causes et les facteurs qui ont contribué à son émergence et sur les modalités de son expression. La première interrogation renvoie largement à des questions épistémologiques et méthodologiques. Y répondre implique de mettre à jour le contexte qui a prévalu à l’apparition et au développement des problématiques de flexibilisation du travail, mais aussi de construire des concepts susceptibles de faciliter la théorisation donc la compréhension de ce phénomène.Le texte propose à la fois d’exposer les préceptes d’une approche scientifique de la flexibilisation du travail et d’insérer l’ensemble des contributions présentées dans ce cahier spécial de la ROR dans un schéma général interprétatif de la flexibilisation du travail, des mécanismes qu’elle implique et des incidences qu’elle pourrait avoir sur le fonctionnement des entreprises et sur le modèle économique global.
