Les théories féministes ont désormais largement adopté le concept d’intersectionnalité pour décrire et analyser les axes multiples d’oppression et leurs imbrications. Cependant, encore relativement peu de recherches explorent la question de savoir si les organisations de femmes dans différents contextes ont elles aussi adopté ce terme et l’analyse politique qu’il implique. À partir de données qualitatives recueillies auprès de militantes des droits des femmes en France et au Canada, cet article montre que l’intersectionnalité est un des répertoires discursifs possible — mais pas le seul — que les organisations de femmes peuvent utiliser pour analyser l’expérience sociale et les intérêts politiques des femmes situées à l’intersection de plusieurs rapports d’oppression. À partir des données qualitatives, l’article propose une typologie de quatre répertoires types que les militantes utilisent pour penser l’intersectionnalité et l’inclusion au sein de leurs organisations.
